This cast of women brings together knowledge from various schools of improv, including The Second City, iO Theater and Annoyance Theater. Valid Hysteria is constantly exploring new forms and exciting and provocative themes, while respecting the principles of great improv.
Since its inception in late 2006, Valid Hysteria has appeared at numerous venues. They've headlined an eight-week run at the Apollo Studio Theater, improvised on stage at The Playground Theater and Donny's Skybox, played in the Team Elvira/Ride for AIDS fundraiser at the Apollo Theater, participated in several barprov nights, traveled to festivals around the country, and performed for 2 years in a row at the Chicago Women's Funny Festival.
